• Successfully developed a back-office telecommunications application that uses a proprietary work-flow management system that maintains and manages telephone customers, its products and services, inventory of available network lines, and interfaces to a third party billing system. The system uses Oracle 10g as the database back-end.

• Data migration and integration of external data into their Service Order Work-flow Management System.

• Programming and maintenance of in-house Clarion applications for Insurance Health Claims Processing using C6.3 and MSSQL database. Tasks include but not limited to barcode programming, check printing, EDI processing, mail-merge, and management reports.

• Developed and successfully implemented a windows service to automatically accept incoming HIPAA EDI files, decrypt, upload to the database, create and e-mail a PDF report.

• Electronic data submission to external parties.

• Programming and maintenance of a claims processing module for Employee Health Care Reimbursements using C55 and MSSQL.

• Successfully developed and implemented a module to create HIPAA EDI documents that interfaces with a program that administers Employee Benefits, and Flexible Spending Accounts. The backend uses MSSQL. The module interfaces the EDI documents to major insurance carriers such as AETNA, Blue Cross, etc.

• Developed an automated e-mail processing system that manages batch sends and receives of email messages using SMTP client and Novel GroupWise as email sever. The system uses MSSQL to store and queue e-mail messages.

• Developed a Job Order and Billing Management System for vessel dry-docking operations. It uses PostgreSQL as the database back-end and Clarion 6.3 as the client program.

• Developed a real estate transaction management system that manages a multi-level networking hierarchy of real estate agents, their listings, purchases, and loan transactions. It uses MySQL and is interfaced to a web site that uses PHP, Apache, and Linux.

• Successfully developed a back-office telecommunications software that manages customer care, order entry, work-flow management, service provisioning and outside plant management. Successfully deployed the software for a regional telephone company in Illinois. The software used Oracle ( SCO UNIX) as the database back-end and Clarion for Windows (C55) as the GUI front-end.

• Created a proprietary interface for data communication between other systems such as billing and telephone switch-provisioning.

• Developed and maintained an Employee Benefits Administration System written in Clarion C5EE in a client-server environment using Pervasive 7.0 as back-end database server. The program is capable of calculating premiums and payroll deductions for employee benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, health care flexible spending accounts, etc. It is also capable of electronic eligibility reporting to major insurance carriers.

• Successfully developed software systems for managing home health care patients especially with IV-infusion therapies. Projects include:

• Created and successfully implemented a table-driven query reporting of patient reports.

• Created and deployed successfully an in - house pharmacy software for dispensing and managing of IV-infusion drugs, equipment, and supplies.

• Created an automated claim-processing module that expedited claims reimbursement for HCFA-1500, UB-92, and 30-1C.

• Created within schedule, a system for state annual reports for OSH-PD. Created a Risk Management System for managing risks during patient care. Created a software system for managing contracts with HMO for case-managed patients.

• Created an application to manage staff scheduling and payroll integration for nurse visits.

Currently using C6.3 and C7 in custom database application development especially in Work-flow, Job Order Management, OSS, CRM and ERP. Experience in all stages of the Solution Development Life Cycle.

• Strong skills in database design using ERD, systems analysis, data security and encryption using PGP.

• Expertise in cross-platform data migration and integration. Working knowledge with EDI, ASC X12N, and HIPAA.

• Proficient in writing structured code using OOP, clarion ABC templates, and classes. Comfortable writing hand coded projects or within the appgen.

• Intermediate knowledge in web-based programming using HTML, and PHP

• Expert knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL programming with emphasis on stored procedures, triggers, and custom packages. Primary tools are TOAD, sqlplus, schema manager, and enterprise manager.

• Expert knowledge in MSSQL T-SQL programming, creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions.

• MySQL database administration and programming. Uses SQLYOG, and MySQL CC.

• Proficient in ODBC, OCX, VBX, and COM interfaces, and Windows API calls, and Crystal Reports integration.
